Paramount Pictures

This is an American production film company located in Hollywood, California. It is the 3rd oldest film studio in Hollywood and was founded in May 8 1912 by Adolph Zukot and Jesse L.Lasky. Films of which paramount have distributed include Alfred Hitchcocks film Vertigo and Rearing Window. They also distribute the film Mission Impossible, Titanic and the most popular horror film Paranormal Activity. Furthermore it is a member of the Motion Picture Association of America.

Universal

Also founded in 1912 was Universal. This is the 2^nd oldest movie distributor in the world. Founded by Carl Laemmle the company is still I running business and has produced well known films such as Jurassic Park, Scott Pilgrim vs The World and even the famous Harry Potter series. Furthermore it has also set up four major theme parks in locations such as; Hollywood, Orlando, Japan, Singapore.  Universal are very well known for distributing many popular Steven Spielberg movies such as Jaws, Jurassic Parkand An American Tail.

20^th Century Fox

20^th Century Fox was founded on May 31 1935 by William Fox, Joseph Schenck and Darryl F. Zanuck. It is located in the Century City in Los Angeles and has distributed many popular films. Some of these films include; what lies Beneath, The planet of the Apes and The day after tomorrow. They also distributed the film Titanic alongside Paramount Pictures.
